When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and role (brand or creator). Creators may optionally add a profile photo, portfolio videos, and connect third-party accounts (TikTok, Instagram) to verify their content channels.
If you choose to connect a TikTok or Instagram account, we receive your public profile information (username, display name, profile photo) via that platform's official login flow, solely to display a verified badge on your BrandWorks profile. We do not post on your behalf or access your private messages, followers, or content unless a future feature explicitly says otherwise and you grant that permission. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from your profile page, which deletes the associated access token from our database.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store a reference to your Stripe customer or connected account, but never your raw card number, bank account number, or full date of birth/SSN — those are collected directly by Stripe's systems.
We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching creators with gigs, processing payments, displaying profiles to the other party in a transaction, and communicating with you about your account.
We share information with brands or creators you interact with through the Service (e.g. a brand can see a creator's profile when reviewing an application), and with service providers we use to operate the platform (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage). We do not sell your personal information.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
You can access, update, or delete most of your profile information directly from your account settings, including disconnecting any linked social accounts.
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version here.
